Trend Window
Number of rounds (10-100) used to calculate trend direction
Definition
Trend Window specifies how many recent rounds the AI uses to identify trends. The AI compares the average multiplier of the 'trend window' (e.g., last 20 rounds) against the same number of rounds before it (rounds 21-40) to determine if there's upward, downward, or sideways movement. Larger windows (50-100 rounds) identify long-term trends but are slow to react. Smaller windows (10-25 rounds) detect trends quickly but may mistake random fluctuations for genuine trends. Balance is key.
Example
Window = 20 rounds: AI compares rounds 1-20 vs rounds 21-40. If recent 20 average 3.2x and previous 20 average 2.4x, that's +33% upward trend. Window = 50: Compares rounds 1-50 vs 51-100. More data = more reliable but requires 100 rounds history. Smaller windows need less history but are more volatile in their assessments.
💡Strategy Tip
Recommended settings: Quick detection (15-25 rounds) - responsive but noisy, Balanced detection (25-40 rounds) - best for most players, Stable detection (40-60 rounds) - reliable but slower. Match to your playing style: aggressive players use smaller windows, conservative use larger. Start with 20-25.
