Bankroll ManagementLow
Base Bet / Bet Size
The standard amount you wager per round
Definition
Your base bet (or bet size) is the default amount you wager on each round. This is your starting point before any betting system adjustments. It should be a small percentage of your total bankroll to ensure sustainability across many rounds.
Example
With a $1000 bankroll, a conservative base bet would be $10-20 (1-2% of bankroll). This allows for 50-100 rounds of play even with some losses.
💡Strategy Tip
The 1-5% rule: Your base bet should never exceed 5% of your bankroll. Most professionals recommend 1-2% for sustainability.
